Routine testing for quality and concentration
Throughout processing and manufacturing, the egg antibodies are routinely tested for quality and concentration through multiple checkpoints. Rigorous pasteurization and microbiology testing is required for each batch before release. Furthermore, IgY concentration and specificities are confirmed to meet a minimum level for the product to be released into the open market, and our products are guaranteed to have a minimum concentration of IgY antibodies (10 mg/g of dry product).
Get the most from our products
We are dedicated to helping our customers get the most out of our products. Through various manufacturing processes antibodies can become denatured or damaged and not maintain the antigen specific binding properties. If you are adding EggTek into products that require heat or moisture treatments, we would be happy to aid you in verifying the reactivity and concentration of the IgY.
Antibody Specificity Testing
Bio-Technical Resources, a division of Arkion Life Sciences, operates a 15,000 ft2 research facility in Manitowoc, WI and offers support in fermentation and downstream processes, strain development, and analytical services.
ELISA-based service (in development) to offer specificity testing of antibody-containing products or ingredients.
